personality: Reyson might appear as a person who doesn't trust the others, especially the Beorcs, or at the opposite, who trusts them too much (Neasala for istance). He's somehow naive and he strongly believes in his principles, in those ideas he might reconsider as the story procede. He always tries to strongly maintains his positions, although he sometimes appears as an egoistic and unreasonable person. He's not keen on forgiveness, and he neither wants to understand the reasons of those who hurt him in the past (or are still hurting him). but he's not a simpleminded only blinded by hatred and wishing his personal avenge. He's a gentle soul, ready to help those who needs him, caring about the peson he trusts and loves. He deeply changes through the story, as he's able to comprehend that Laguz aren't always right and Beorcs aren't always wrong. Accepting this fact isn't easy, but Reyson figured it out, helped by Ike and his friends, and by Leanne mainly. He realized that avenge isn't something to be proud of and that resentment couldn't help him in rebuilding his country, and mainly his life.
Although Reyson isn't an active fighter, he's really courageous and he he doesn't care to be involved in dangerous battles, although he somehow confesses his fears and his doubts.
background: Reyson is one of the last living herons. He's the prince of the forest of Serenes and he exiliated himself from his "kingdom", to avoid being persecuted by the beorcs. After the Serenes tragedy (herons were accused to be the responsible of the death of the previous Apostole, 20 years before the beginning of the story of FE9, and as a result of that fact, the beorcs burnt the forest and killed almost all the herons), he found a refuge and friendship in Phoenincis, living at Tibarn's place and growing a strong bond with him. He's later "sold" to one of the Beignoin's aristocrats (a sort of herons fetish!) by his long time friend Neasala (who betrayed him) and rescued by Ike and his friends. Despising beorcs, he flies away and finds refuge in Serenes. He finally joins Ike's party when the leader of the mercenaries rescues him and his previously lost sister Leanne.
